Position Description
We are seeking master’s students from diverse background and majors to join our research team.
Successful candidates will work on projects related to musical sound synthesis, instrument emulation, instrument design, and other related topics in the field of music and culture technology.
Students will have opportunities to publish in international journals or top conferences, collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers, and develop advanced computational and experimental skills.
Expectations
- A successful master’s student will possess the curiosity and determination to experience the entire process of conducting one’s own research: generating their own ideas, concretizing them, and then articulating them persuasively.
- The timeline for accomplishing this is expected to be two years.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s program applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or be expected to receive one by the time of enrollment.
Funding and Benefits
- Funded with monthly stipend plus incentive
- Personal office space and access to lab resources and facilities.
- Most graduate students can live in on-campus housing if they wish. Separate apartments are provided for married students.
