Drawable Air-jet Sonifier

This project is a demo intended for the presentation on my ISMA paper “Numerical Study of Air-jet Instrument Sounds using Hydrodynamic-Acoustic Splitting”.

This demo illustrates the 2D incompressible Navier-Stokes equations featuring a jet flow. Users can draw objects with the mouse, and the fluid flows with a slip condition parallel to the object boundaries. The notion of this simulation is to introduce a rapid computational technique for aeroacoustics of flute instruments. Please refer to the associated paper for details. As this demo is intended to convey the underlying concepts, certain configuration parameters (e.g., the speed of sound in air) have been set differently from real-world values.
